The aim was to slowly reintroduce myself to the bike over the Christmas period. However, I spent much of the time in bed with Flu. There was an interesting positive as I managed to lose weight! In between bouts of fever I ordered myself a compact chainset and did a little research on the Net.
To complete the Etape equipment is all too important and more importantly the right equipment. I'll be using a Cervelo R3 kitted out with Campag Record 05 and a nice comfy saddle (as favoured by Jan Ullrich)
My first ride is this coming weekend in Caernarfon I am aiming for a nice steady 25miles. Dont worry I have a training plan ;)
